IT IS NOT MENT TO LOOK LIKE IT DOES IT’S NOT FINISHED. This is my koi pond. It has been up for two months, every month I do a video of it so you can see how it progresses. The biggest koi has grown well considering the lower temperatures and the small koi are doing fantastic. I moved the goldfish to my small pond before you start thinking huuuuuuuuuuuuuhhh they all died. Any way all fish doing well. Once the concrete shell is complete, it’s time to paint. Two coats of epoxy resin were applied to water-proof the concrete. Black was chosen as the color because it’s dark and neutral, providing the best backdrop for viewing the vibrant koi. For more details and photos visit www.jaggedmoss.com

Every square foot of the pond must be covered with rebar. Rebar provides the structural strength required and prevents cracking within the concrete.
