2009 Pond Update
My bog is growing, I’ve tweaked my filters and my fish are happy. Sorry it took so long t oshow some progress but this pond will be a lifetime in the making!

I’m impressed! After watching the first video with the filter I was skeptical. But it really looks good now. Rocks look natural, the fish are thriving, plants are taking off nicely and even the dog seems to enjoy it!
i like how you added the white fence back there. Looking good.
what do you use to avoid birds or other creatures from coming in to steal your fish?
The shiro utsuri has a little flaw, a bit of red around the head and tail. But the good news is, it’s a female and maybe it will have some nice fry someday!
The largest yellow female is the mom of last years fry. None of my fry from last are seen, all too small, but a few really nice ones from the year before are there, including a very nice three spot kohaku and even a Goshiki, which I’ve always wanted but could never find.
good update so did you breed that yellow female this year.
