Thanks, when I made this video there were 3 Siberian, 2 Stelatus Sturgeon and 1or 2 Sterlets.
Since then I have added 3 Diamonds, and an albino Sterlet.
I ‘ll do a new video soon.
Blood worm are excellent food but he will need a balanced diet , it depends on what other food is available, over here we can buy pellets developed for Sturgeon and I’m sure you can there, take a look at Sturgeon-web for some great info.
I used 9″ hollow concrete blocks with reinforcing steel rods and lots of concrete, its all about strength when you go down deep, bricks are OK but it depends what you ground is like and how deep you want to go, you will need to make sure there are no sharp edges or coat with some thing fish friendly, mine is rendered with sand and cement then fibre glassed, I wish I lived there now winter is just around the corner. Terry
Hi the largest greys are Siberian Sturgeon (Acipenser baerii) the black & white are Stellate Sturgeon(Acipenser stellatus) and the smallest ones are Sterlet (Acipenser ruthenus) these can also be found as albinos and I have just bought one and its a real beauty.

what material is it inside the pond? do you think bricks are any good for a pond interior? and i live in australia so its much hotter here.
There is no chance of your sturgeons to outgrow koi and eat them?
Do you keep more fish in your pond apart from Koi and Sturgeons?
No , I believe they kill the Sturgeon when they take the eggs,
do you harvest Caviar? or however its spelled
This is my garden pond with a viewing window, sorry I don’t know about crayfish.
